CEREBRATION is available without a doctor’s prescription, for you to maintain your health. Nevertheless, you still need to use CEREBRATION carefully to get the best results from it.

Do not share CEREBRATION with any other person.

Ask your health care provider or pharmacist if you need more information or advice.

 

 

WHAT IS CEREBRATION AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR

Assist with enhancing brain function, lowering anxiety, managing stress

and improved memory.

Used in Herbal Medicine as and adaptogen to help increase energy and

resistance to stress.

May promote cerebral blood flow.

Acts as an antioxidant to eliminate free radicals.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU TAKE CEREBRATION.

Do not take CEREBRATION  

Hypersensitivity/allergy to the active substance or to any of the excipients or

residues from the manufacturing process in which case, discontinue use.

Do not use this product if you are taking health products that affect blood

coagulation as this may increase the risk of spontaneous bleeding.

Consult a registered healthcare provider prior to use if you are taking

any other medicine or have been diagnosed with a chronic condition.

 

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS

Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or

breastfeeding.

 

CONTAINS CAFFEINE.

 

Contains 2 mg of Caffeine per 1967 mg dosage of Cerebration.

A cup of instant coffee contains approximately 80 mg of caffeine.

Use of caffeine may result in sleep deprivation.

Limit the use of caffeine-containing products (including tea and coffee) when

taking this product.

 

Consult a registered healthcare professional if you are taking any other

medicine (such as lithium) including chronic, complementary or traditional

medicines; or have high blood pressure, glaucoma, and/or detrusor

instability (overactive bladder syndrome).

 

Consumption with other medicines (e.g. bitter orange extract, synephrine,

octopamine, ephedra, ephedrine) which increase blood pressure is not

recommended.

 

Use of caffeine may result in sleep deprivation.

Consumption with other caffeine-containing products or foods (e.g.

medications, coffee, tea, colas, cocoa, guarana, maté) is not recommended.

Discontinue use two weeks prior to surgery.

 

If you are of childbearing age, pregnant or breastfeeding and have

concerns that your daily intake of caffeine from all sources may exceed 200

mg per day, please consult a relevant health care provider prior to use.

Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking medications

for diabetes, high blood pressure or seizures.

 

Some people may experience drowsiness. Exercise caution when operating heavy

machinery or driving a motor vehicle until you know how this product affects you.

Avoid taking alcohol products that causes

drowsiness.

 

For use in Adults only.

 

The Indicated daily dose should not be exceeded.

 

A varied diet is the most effective and safe way to achieve good nutrition, health,

body composition as well as mental and physical performance.

 

Children

Not suitable for children under the age of 18 years.

 

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility

If you are pregnant or breast feeding your baby please consult your doctor,

pharmacist or other relevant health care provider for advice before taking

this medicine.

 

Cerebration contains magnesium stearate.

 

  1. HOW TO TAKE CEREBRATION

Do not share medicines prescribed for you with any other person.

Always take Cerebration exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor,

or pharmacist have told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not

sure.

 

It is recommended that adults take two (2) to three (3)  vegetable capsules daily of Cerebration with or without a meal.

Do not exceed daily dose without consulting a relevant health care provider.

 

If you take more Cerebration than you should

In overdose, side effects can be precipitated and/or be of increased severity.

Symptoms of overdose, irritability and insomnia.

At doses of more than 600 mg per day, caffeine may cause anxiety, tachycardia

(rapid heart rate), palpitations, insomnia, restlessness, nervousness, tremor, and headache.

Some people may experience drowsiness. Exercise caution if operating

heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle or involved in activities requiring mental alertness.

 

If you forget to take Cerebration

Do not take a double dose to make up for forgotten individual doses.

 

  1. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

CEREBRATION  can have side effects.

Less Frequent side effects: (Occurs in less than 1 in 100 users)

Nervous system disorders

Insomnia or drowsiness

Not all side effects reported for Cerebration  are included in this leaflet.

Should your general health worsen or if you experience any untoward effects

while taking Cerebration, please consult your health care provider for advice.

If you notice any side effects not mentioned in this leaflet, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.

 

Reporting of side effects

If you get side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. You can also

report side effects to SAHPRA via the “6.04 Adverse Drug Reaction Reporting

Form”, found online under AHPRA’s publications:

can help provide more information on the safety of Cerebration.

 

  1. HOW TO STORE Cerebration,

Store all medicines out of reach of children.

Store in the airtight container, protected from light at or below 25 ˚C.

Return all unused medicine to your pharmacist.

Do not dispose of unused medicine in drains or sewerage systems (e.g. toilets).
